About the walk
Linacre Water is located on the outskirts of Chesterfield and is home to some wonderful birds & wildlife. A medium category walk with some undulating paths that require a medium level of fitness. I have recorded 65 species here including Tufted Duck, Mandarin Duck, Great Crested & Little Grebe, Tawney & Little Owl, Jay, Nuthatch, Treecreeper and many more. The landscape in the Autumn is truly magnificent, with the colours of nature bursting out and reflected in the lakes.
