About the walk

A wonderful and diverse walk starting in Milldale Village near Alstonfield. Following the River Dove this walk takes in not only the river but woodland, open grassland & farmland. There is one short steep climb up Gypsy Bank but this can be done in stages as we take in the great vistas. Home to Dipper, Peregrine Falcon & much more. I have recorded 62 species of bird here with still more to discover I'm sure.
