About the walk
Pick up will be either on route or from a local pick up point, agreed in advance. St Aidan's is a wonderful place to explore and has wonderful wildlife including Bitterns, Black-necked Grebes, Little Owls, Kestrels, Black-headed Gulls and Lapwings. This site has been transformed from an old, open cast mine to a nature reserve that has a rich variety of habitats including reedbeds, wetlands, meadows and woodland. Facilities include : Visitor centre, Toilets & Cafe/refreshments. (10am open time) For more details please contact me via phone or email.
