Winter walk at Hardwick Hall

About the walk

Free transport from the Belper/Matlock areas on on route. Hardwick Hall is run by The National Trust and is home to some wonderful wildlife. Tour length is from 3 hour to 4 hours, depending on what we see. A mix of grazed grasslands, wooded areas and several ponds you can find a good mix of bird species here, including good numbers of wildfowl. I have recorded 67 species here and it's a great place for beginners to learn to ID some of the more common birds.
