The first of two trips to Bradford Dale this week. This one was with Wilder Wirksworth.
The Dipper was busy around its nest and the River Bradford. Seen flying with food on several occasions. The stars for me today were the 20 or so Curlew that had arrived in their usual spot.
The bubbling calls could be heard as we came over the hill and everyone's ears pricked up as we al new that wonderful sound. Spring is definitely arrived as we heard many bird singing and lots of territories being defended.
