We found ourselves walking down Wyver Lane in bright sunshine.
The forecast had been for cloudy conditions but we weren't complaining.
Highlights had to be our first singing Blackcap at the site for this year, a gorgeous Red Kite drifting slowly up the valley giving great views, 3 Buzzard soaring above and my first Willow Warbler of 2024.
Thanks to Claire, Sue, Nel & Sophie for joining me and being great guests, all enthusiastic about every bird we saw, which is wonderful to witness.
