Cromford Canal & Lea Wood

About the walk

Starting at Cromford and walking along the canal as far as Aqueduct Cottage and then climb into Lea Wood. Then back to Cromford where we will also check out St. Mary's Church yard and the River Derwent for Kingfisher and Dipper. I have recorded 67 species around this area throughout the year. Around 7km in length this walk is a wonderful way to stretch you legs and see some great wildlife.
