About the walk

A good 7 km walk taking in Oak Woodland, moorland & grassland. This is a medium difficulty walk with some of the woodland a little tricky to navigate around the exposed tree roots. A wonderful location that is the home to great species including Pied & Spotted Flycatcher, Redstart, Cuckoo, Wood Warbler & many more. Join me on a wild journey in a landscape of surprises. A lift can be offered from the Belper/Matlock areas or on route. Contact me for details.
