About the walk

Starting from The Plantation car park and walking a circular walk around the 3 reservoirs, woodland and open moorland, this walk is home to a great variety of wildlife. Around 7.5 km in length this walk is a wonderful way to enjoy the area and escape the day to day madness. Sections of the walk are uneven so you must be steady on your feet and have good walking boots or shoes. With such a good mix of habitats we will give ourselves a good chance of seeing some great birds.
