About the walk

Pick up will be either on route or from a local pick up point, agreed in advance. St Aidan's is a wonderful place to explore and has wonderful Autumn wildlife sightings including Bitterns, Grebes, Little Owls, Kestrels, Spoonbill and many waders. This site has been transformed from an old, open cast mine to a nature reserve that has a rich variety of habitats including reedbeds, wetlands, meadows and woodland. Facilities include : Visitor centre, Toilets & Cafe/refreshments. (10am open time) For more details please contact me via phone or email.
