About the walk

We will visit Tucklesholme NR Relax, enjoy the fresh air and appreciate the variety of wildlife habitats the South Derbyshire area has to offer. Tucklesholme is a large open water body that can throw up a few surprises. Access to the North end of the reserve has recently opened up and has added a whole new range of species to this wonderful place. A section of the walk now includes the River Trent. Whether you’re an experienced birdwatcher or a beginner, our tour is suitable for all levels and is limited to a maximum of 6 people. We provide transportation from the Belper area or on route. Join us and get the most out of your birdwatching experience. Bring lunch and a warm drink. In the event of adverse weather conditions being forecast, the tour would be cancelled. A minimum of 3 people must be on this walk to make it feasible. Keep an eye out for an email the day before the tour. You then have the option of rebooking or a full refund.
