Sometimes the birds just don't show up, and today was one of those days. Luckily, we made plans to meet up with the Sorby Breck Ringers Group and got to watch a few birds being fitted with rings. We saw two stunning male Goldcrests and a charming Coal Tit.
Spotting 29 species is decent, but Linacre usually offers a bit more.
That's birding for you, and thankfully, quiet days like this aren't too common.
