Moorland walk in the peaks

About the walk

Towards the end of September & through October the Red Deer stags in the Peak District will have battled for dominance & the right to mate with the hinds. The stags will still look amazing with their antlers and we may be lucky and catch the end of the rut. We will, as usual, keep the group limited to 6 people. This means a more personal experience & there will be less chance of disturbance. So on this walk we may have a chance of seeing these magnificent animals on our way around Big Moor & Ramsley Moor. Around 8km in length and some of the walk will be on uneven ground, so this walk is for anyone that feels confident to cope with the terrain.
